This economy is really taking a toll on the american consumer and the American Homeowner.

I think the Obama Mortgage Assistance Programs are working but they are working slowly which is perhaps the best you can ask for.

They are predicting that the making Home Affordable Loan Modification Program will help as many as 20,000 Homeowners a week obtain a loan modification. This is great new especially when you consider that the mortgage lenders wil also be giving mortgage refinances un der the mortgage refinance portion of the making home affordable loan modification program as well as other refinances and modifications and other types of mortgage workouts tht are not part of the making home affordable plan.
