I have a hard time commenting about debts as I have had a bad experience about it. Lost most of my assets. Does having a credit counselor really help?

It is essential for you to understand that a lot of advice is available when it comes to managing debts. However, debt advice is free only if it does not lead on to a solution. Thus, if the debt advisor advices you to merely follow a budget, then the advice will not be charged. However, if this debt advice leads to you opting for a debt solution for which there is a fee, then advice is not free. A debt solution will only be recommended if your advisor feels that it is absolutely necessary for you.
