Economic Events on September 28, 2012

Also at 8:30 AM Eastern time, the monthly Personal Income and Outlays report for August will be released. The consensus for Personal Income is an increase of 0.2% over the previous month and the consensus Consumer Spending index change is an increase of 0.5%.

At 9:45 AM Eastern time, the Chicago PMI Index for September will be announced. The consensus index value is 53.0, which is the same as last month, and is still above the break-even level at 50.

At 9:55 AM Eastern time, Consumer Sentiment for the second half of September will be announced.  The consensus is that the index will be at 79.0 , which is 0.2 points lower than the value reported in the first half of the month.
