Do you have any thoughts on Gold Coins which are minted by the Perth Mint and LEGAL TENDER by the Aus Government?

Are these items classed as &quot;currency&quot; and NOT subject to CGT?

I believe there are laws similar to this in the UK.

If this is so, it would make Gold Coins a very attractive investment.</description>
